Multilateral Agreement (MGA)

Agreement between the National Insurers’ Bureaux of the Member States of the European Economic Area and other Associate States 2021:

For countries who have signed the MA it is not necessary for motorists to possess a Green Card. A vehicle entering in another state different from the state of its registration, is presumed to have in force a policy of insurance.

If the vehicle does not have in force such cover, then the Bureau of its country of registration is liable to meet the claim.
